Out of an abundance of caution, Charles Spencer Elementary was placed on a soft lockdown this afternoon due to a potential situation in the neighborhood around the school. System security personnel worked with local law enforcement to determine that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff. The school resumed normal operations. #4theT

Two of our fifth grade CSE students competed today in the 4H DPA in Perry, GA and received 1st place. Journee Denson - 1st place, Archeology and Jaydee Godwin -1st place, Swine. Both students represented Charles Spencer well! Congratulations!
