The Blue Devil Brigade Auxiliary Band had their Christmas concert before the break and took donations of animal supplies as admission to the
performance. They were able to drop off the supplies at the local animal
shelter here in Tift County over the holiday break.
Just a friendly reminder that we will continue to accept orders over the break, but they will not be filled until we return in January.

Out of an abundance of caution, Tift County High School was placed on a soft lockdown this morning while the Tifton Fire Department investigated an odor of gas in the area. System security personnel worked with the fire department to locate the source and determined that there was no threat to the safety and security of the students or staff. The school has resumed normal operations.
Who says you need a computer to run a program? Students had to create a flow chart to program Mrs. Busbin to build their Taco. This capstone activity helps students to visual real life situations as algorithms as they seek solutions.
Students in Mrs. Alexander’s Forensic Science class built crime scenes out of various toys and props. Students then presented their creations to the class.
HOSA members enjoyed decorating Gingerbread houses at their December meeting.
Healthcare students in Ms. Boone's class practiced modeling moulage injuries and first aid protocols for burns, bruises, and lacerations.
