This week, the CTAE Department hosted fourth graders from GO Bailey for their school's Opportunity Day, allowing students to be transported to a local partner to enrich skills and generate sparks of interest for their future. TCHS Junior Bill Nguyen, who originally proposed the project to educate the kids about Heart Health, pulled together a coalition of HOSA and FCCLA students to make it happen. The young GO Bailey students were introduced to how poor lifestyle choices affect the heart and blood vessels and how they could make great nutritional and physical activity choices to maintain great overall cardiovascular health! #4theT

Dr. Busbin's Cloud Computing and Embedded Computing classes brewed up some knowledge as they explored how cloud computing is like a coffee shop! From placing orders to discussing the parallels between the two services, students dove into cloud technology with enthusiasm. Thanks to a Colquitt Electric Membership Corporation Bright Ideas Grant, they even printed their coffee shop posters right in class! From sports teams to cities, these students have been drawing connections and learning important concepts in a fun and engaging way. #4theT
